0.0.19.0 was released on the 16th of October 2018 and succeeded by 0.0.20.0. 0.0.19.0 added a slew of changes and additions to the game. Most notably, smooth locomotion and a fix for the flying exploit.

Changes

0.0.19.0 provided the following changes:

  • Smooth Locomotion added to the game.
  • Settings added to main menu.
  • See below for options table.
  • Added swipe 'snap' turning for the HTC Vive (SteamVR) devices.
  • Added haptic toggle for toggle gripped items over docks.
  • Players can now fall if unsupported by the world.
  • Players can now take fall damage.
  • Players can no longer walk through walls.
  • We will halt the camera if you move too deep where you shouldn't, so be careful.
  • Small distance reduction to teleport pointer.
  • Added shared cooldown between teleport pointers off either hand.
  • Angle steepness threshold for teleport pointer reduced.
  • Teleport pointers can now teleport players to most surfaces.
  • Reduced max drop height for teleport pointer.
  • Oculus input changes.
  • Left and right on the left-handed joystick is used for snap-turning, instead of Y and B.
  • Gestures now require the trigger to be pulled into a closed fist, before swiveling the joystick.
  • Combat mode changes.
  • Removed speed debuff timer in favor of 'crippling' system.
  • Players move at slower speeds after being struck, but slowly regain speed.
  • Players can now traverse shallow water.
  • Players will return to land if they fall into deeper waters.
  • Added 'Festivity' period into the game. (October 1st to Nov 30).
  • Added pumpkins to the game.
  • On a totally unrelated note, chisels have an additional use this festivity period.
  • Added durability models to weapons found in camps.
  • Increased reliability and damage of Spriggull attacks.
  • Fixed issue where creatures left and returned to their spawn locations, causing legions of enemies to kill servers.
  • Reduced temperature added from each log added to campfires, giving more control per log.
  • Fixed issue where vegetables could not be cut into pieces.
  • Fixed issue where static content wasn't loaded when players rejoined a server in the same build.
  • Fixed an instance in which players would be stuck 'loading' the game when joining a server.
