Chest cooking

Chest cooking is a way of Cooking a lot of Food in a more effective way than just having them lay by a Campfire and manually picking it up when its done.

Method

1: Find a chest (or a crate) to use.
2: Fill up its inventory with junk items, like flint or bone. Leave one slot empty. (Do not use Wood, Grass, or the raw you are going to Cook as junk items)
3: Put a piece of cooked food in the last empty slot. This should be the food you are going to cook.
4: Put Grass and Wood in the bottom of the chest. (Physically, not in the slots)
5: Light the fire, and start throwing in the chest.

If done correctly, the freshly cooked food should automatically stack into the slot with the when done, leaving you to only have to throw in the raw ingredients for further cooking of the same food.

Tip: Use a chest that doesn't refresh with new items (such as those upstairs in the Tavern) to avoid losing all your food when the chest refreshes with new items at dawn.
