My antivirus thinks the launcher is a virus

Since ATT is still in development, it doesn't have the credentials to be a full fledged program. If you allow the program to run anyways, the game will be installed correctly.

The loading screen is stuck showing alta.api

Quit the launcher, open task manager and kill atla.api. The rerun the launcher.
