0.0.37.0 was released on the 24th of July 2019 and was succeeded by 0.0.38.0.
Changes
0.0.37.0 provided the following changes:
- Static / Dynamic Loading Split
- Servers and clients load less dynamic objects around player(s).
- Static content loads the same distance.
- Causes large reduction in physics processing on server and client, and reduces rendering on clients.
- New Grass Shader
- Now properly rendered in shadows.
- Uses Deferred rendering as opposed to Forward rendering.
- Buffs to ore boulder population growth.
- Reduced spawn time for ore boulder population growth.
- Toggle grab on Index is now double-tapping the touch pad (no click needed), to release an item just press down the trigger.
- Index users can now gesture a few fingers whilst holding an item.
- Known bug with bow string, and hand touch panels not posing properly for index controller users.
- Tree Optimizations
- Trees now bake into various damage state models.
- Reduced the amount of objects required to make up a segment of a tree. (Improved load/unload times.)
- All enemies now use less mesh renderers.
- Fixed issue with wall hooks and bags and bags and wall hooks, and wall hooks in bags, and bags on wall hooks.
- Fixed off-center hand touch pillar on cave teleporter shrines.
