0.0.39.0 is a pre-Alpha update for A Township Tale pushed live on the 21st of August, 2019. It was succeeded by 0.0.40.0.
Full Patch Notes
- New Server Tech (see above)
- Tomatoes now splat when thrown
- Chopped food can no longer be destroyed, this should reduce accidental wastage while chopping
- Embedded arrows and kunai now decay
- Digging mechanic added
- Currently the only digging tool are rusty shovels that can be found in various locations
- Craftable shovels will come in the future
- Mounds of earth appear around the overworld, digging these will get you some loot!
- Fixed PvP exploits involving Spin2Win
- Fixed issue causing attachments to be destroyed when woodcutting the stick/handle of a Primitive Tool
- The attachments now fall off.
- Fixed issue causing pots and boxes to spawn underneath platforms in the caves.
- Fixed issue preventing corks being plucked off bottles/gourds.
- Fixed grab points on pumpkins and pots.
- Leaves of vegetables can not be cut off while still planted any more.
- Removed effect from gourd smashing.
- It was triggering an issue in the engine.
- We'll hopefully add it back or replace it soon.
- Fixed bug causing smelter to break down when loading.
- Changed how AI's get targets to improve server performance.
- Various server-side physics optimizations.
