Changes

  • Weapon Balances
    • Axes
      • Previously were fairly low damage and harder to hit with.
      • Now increased their damage output, and slightly harder to hit with.
      • Cripples approximately 66% of damage dealt.
    • Greatswords
      • Previously very good, and 1 handed was easy to get max damage.
      • Now still quite good, but will generally require 2 hands to use effectively.
      • Cripple approximately 50% of damage dealt.
    • Daggers
      • Previously didn't have much of a use outside of the old tridents meta before.
      • Now has easier damage windows for quicker slashes, and reduced damage output. They can hit their max damage threshold without too much windup.
      • Cripple approximately 25% of damage dealt.
    • Hammers
      • Previously didn't deal much damage aside from their high crippling.
      • Now deals more damage, but is also a bit harder to swing.
      • Cripple has remained mostly as is.
      • Small Hammer Head are an exception, being more useful for quick taps.
    • Archery
      • Previously quite underpowered without archery skills.
      • Now features new system that reduces close ranged damage, and rewards mid to long range damage. These range bonuses make archery more powerful as long as you've got some distance.
    • Handles
      • Short handles offer a slight boost when 2-handing.
      • Medium handles incur a penalty when 1 handing with most weapons. (Weapons that require medium handles to craft such as axes, pickaxes and hammers do not have this penalty.)
      • Long handles have a severe penalty when 1-handed.
  • Adjusted the Archery Skill Tree 'Charge' Path
    • Overall reduction in time required to trigger Ethereal Arrow and Light Beam.
  • Adjustments to Metal Physical Materials.
    • Reduced damage multipliers of higher-tier metals.
  • Fixed bug with Archery Skills, Quick Shot and Charge Shot where 3rd tier variants had no effect on the skills.
  • Fixed spikes on bows dealing more damage than intended.
  • New Community Servers (For Supporters for now.)
    • Main Menu Changes
      • There are now levers to swap between Public servers, My Servers and Open Servers
      • Public Servers: Our Official Township Servers
      • My Servers: Servers from Groups you've joined in the Alta Launcher.
      • Open Servers: Community Servers that are open to anyone to join. (For example, A Creative Tale, A New Adventure, TTARP, The Purge...)
    • Create your own Private Server in the Main Menu
  1. Select Create Server
  2. Choose a Region for it to boot.
  3. Pull the lever to make it!
  4. It'll automatically create a GROUP in the Alta Launcher.
  5. Add your friends to the group for them to join!
  6. Name defaults to "[You]'s server", and settings are all default.
  7. Join the ATT Meta Discord to learn more about your server.
  • You can only have ONE private server!
  • Stew Changes
    • Fixed issue where 'raw' stews gave the same bonus multiplier as 'cooked' stews.
    • Fixed stew multipliers incorrectly multiplying the base value of ingredients.
    • Reduced damage buff stew yields. (Approximately by half).
      • Previously some of them doubled the effects of stews, this in combination with the incorrect base multipliers meant this number got way out of line. (Base value X 2) + (Base value X 3) + (Hella lot of salt.) That middle part with the X 3 is generally gone.
    • Reduced impact of Spriggull Meat with damage buff stews.
    • No changes to Lumination stews yet. The effect of this will need an entire rework most probably.
    • May be some things still in need of changes/things we missed.
  • Fixed gap near the mines where players got stuck.
  • Increased stack size to be over 100K. (Temporary gesture for hardcore collectors. Check out Altacast #1 to hear about the future of stack sizes.)
  • AFK Timer added which disconnects users that have not moved in 10 minutes.
  • New users that have not completed the tutorial will automatically join the tutorial server.
  • Comfort Mode is now disabled by default.
  • Supporter Climbing Level Added
    • Accessible via "Climbing Preview" server in "Public Servers"
    • Rules:
      • PvP is disabled. No weapons in here anyway.
      • Hunger is disabled. Nothing to eat here.
      • Teleporting is disabled. Having this can make some of the challenges obsolete.
    • Climbing can be pretty hard and a bit weird with grabbing, so confirm your grips before trying to do stuff. We won't be iterating on this until we work on it for the full game, so sorry in advance for the slight jank.
    • You don't need to swap to the Supporter Branch in the Alta Launcher, just join the server on the normal build.
    • Pics or it didn't happen.
      • If you completed the courses, take a picture with the banners at the end of the course otherwise you just lying.
