0.0.45.0 is a pre-Alpha update to A Township Tale pushed live on the 12th of November, 2019. 0.0.45.0 was succeeded by 0.0.46.0.

Full Patch Notes

  • New Generic Crafting System
    • Players can now craft items at Crafting Stations at the Crafting House.
    • Items can be decrafted on their respective stations, in reverse build order using a chisel.
    • New Material Items added to the world.
      • Leather rolls, leather strips, metal bits and metal plates.
      • Using different materials affects only the look of items for now. (Effects on item stats pending.)
    • List of changed items for crafting system.
      • Quivers, Bags, Lanterns, Cauldrons, Buckets.
  • Assembly Deck added to the game.
    • Players can now attach items to 'large' items.
      • Currently only used by bags for side attachments.
  • Improvements to bag physics.
    • Mild re-write of the bag to reduce chances of it blowing up and going hella bonks.
  • Bags when held, can only be grabbed by the handle not the body.
    • This is to let you handle the contents of your bag attachments without regrabbing the bag.
  • Changes to dockability of tools/weapons.
    • Key change in bows being able to be equipped on your side belts.
  • Old God Slain
    • No more Backpack Offerings for you heathens.
  • Changes to books.
    • Various books now start with some defined pages.


  • Tutorial Changes
    • Tutorial Server Damage doubled, to make woodcutting and mining faster.
    • Added 2 new tooltips to the Tutorial World.
    • Clarified woodcutting objectives for Tutorial.
    • Reduced despawn rate on Tutorial server.
  • Increased flint's woocutting power.
  • Rusty axes adjusted to be easier with 1 hand.


  • Command Changes
    • Spaces and underscores are now ignored in server commands, if a player can't be found with the exact name typed. This means you could find Long Username Dude by simply typing LongUsernameDude.
    • Removed the ability to spawn a lot of items that were either broken, throwing errors, or non-functional through server commands.
      • Most of the stuff that's been useful to you has stayed, but a bunch of things that probably didn't look like it did anything when the command was placed were removed.
    • Returning Item ID when using spawn commands. (Returned as array.)
    • Check Players Stats command returns an object.
    • Save wipe command no longer sets the server to offline.

  • 0.0.45.0 was the first update to intentionally not forcibly wipe the world. Only the Town Hall and Training Grounds were wiped.
