Deconstructor

Also known as a Decrafting Deck, is a machine used to deconstruct crafted tools and weapons. You can use it to remove one piece or disassemble your whole item.

Location

If you enter the Blacksmith from the left side it is on the right side along the wall. It is on the opposite side from the mold stacks.
Another set of Deconstructors can be found upstairs in the Carpentry

Construction

There are two Deconstructors in each location that can be built. They cost 25 Copper and 5 Iron ingots each.

Use

If the clamp is not open, raise the lever to open it. Hold the item you wish to deconstruct in the clamp mechanism and pull the lever to clamp it in place. Then, using a hammer and chisel, chisel off pieces close to the base of where they attach.

If you want to remove a guard or directional attachment, the blades attached to it must be removed first.

Known Bugs

As of Version 0.0.42.0 and possible earlier, the Deconstructor may sometimes glitch shut and become uninteractable. This is easily fixed by either restarting the game, or relogging into the given server.
